(DALLAS, TX) - The Indiana Pacers finish their preseason schedule tonight when they face the Dallas Mavericks.
The Pacers are 3-and-4 and are coming off a 101-96 loss Tuesday night in New Orleans. The Mavs are 4-and-3 in the preseason and have dropped three of their last four. The first of those three losses came at Conseco Fieldhouse on October 15 when the Pacers pulled out a 100-93 victory.
Mike Dunleavy will miss tonight's game with the Mavericks as his balky right knee is acting up again. Dunleavy has missed six of the Pacers' seven preseason games thus far with tendonitis in the knee.
Dunleavy started feeling pain in the knee while playing pickup games in California before training camp. He aggravated the injury in the one preseason game he did play in, tweaking the knee when he landed awkwardly following a layup attempt against Memphis last Friday. Dunleavy played twelve minutes in that game and was limping noticeably while he was on the court.
Indiana opens the regular season on October 29th when they face the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
