(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers held their annual Fan Jam Sunday at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The open house is the final public event for the blue and gold before they open the regular season Wednesday night against the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The new season dawns with plenty of questions surrounding the Pacers. Jermaine O'Neal is gone and Jamaal Tinsley is in limbo. O'neal was shipped to Toronto in a pre-draft deal that brought TJ Ford and Rasho Nesterovic to Indiana. Tinsley remains under contract to the Pacers and is counting against the 15-man roster.
Indiana is trying to trade Tinsley and Team President Larry Bird has said that he will not buy out the remaining three years on Tinsley's contract and that Tinsley will not participate in any team activities. Ford and Jarrett Jack are Tinsley's replacements at point guard.
Danny Granger shot under 30-percent from the field during the preseason while Mike Dunleavy played in just one of Indiana's eight preseason games. Dunleavy has been suffering from tendonitis in his right knee and appeared to aggravate the injury during his lone preseason appearance against Memphis on October 17th.
Dunleavy will miss Wednesday's opener with Marquis Daniels expected to start in his place.
