(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana Football Coach Bill Lynch says he is hopeful that quarterback Kellen Lewis will be back in the lineup Saturday when the Hoosiers host Northwestern.
Lewis missed last Saturday's 55-13 loss at Illinois as he recovers from a sprained ankle suffered at home against Iowa two weeks ago.
The redshirt junior from Jacksonville, Florida was back at practice on Monday. Lynch says despite his optimism, Lewis is questionable for this Saturday's homecoming game with the Wildcats.
Northwestern is 6-and-1 following a convincing win over Purdue last weekend in Evanston. The Hoosiers have dropped five in a row to fall to 2-and-5 and are looking for their first conference win on Saturday.
