(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - John McCargo’s tenure with the Indianapolis Colts turned out to be a short one.
McCargo failed his physical, voiding the trade between the Colts and the Buffalo Bills. McCargo was acquired by the Colts at Tuesday's trade deadline for an undisclosed draft choice.
The Buffalo News reports that a disk problem in McCargo's back was the reason he failed the physical. The Colts had hoped that the 6-2, 307 pound defensive tackle would add some bulk at the position.
In the wake of the trade being voided, the Colts could re-sign Lajuan Ramsey, who was waived to make room for McCargo on the roster.
