(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday night when the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics come to Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers dropped their opener to the Detroit Pistons 100-to-94 Wednesday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Celtics opened their season with a 90-85 victory over Cleveland on Wednesday as they raised their 17th championship banner to the rafters at the New Garden. The Celtics host the Chicago Bulls tonight before heading to Indianapolis.
The Pacers are expected to be without Mike Dunleavy again tonight. Dunleavy has been hampered by tendonitis in his right knee.
The injury kept Dunleavy out of seven of Indiana's eight preseason games and Wednesday's opener at Detroit. There is no timetable for his return.
