(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue quarterback Curtis Painter could miss this Saturday’s game with the Michigan Wolverines at Ross-Ade Stadium.
Painter suffered a slight-to-moderate separation of his right shoulder according to Head Coach Joe Tiller. Tiller says a decision on Painter's availability for Saturday's game will mostly come down to whether the fifth-year senior can play with pain.
Painter's backup, Joey Elliott, is out for the season after separating his shoulder against Northwestern two weeks ago.
Redshirt freshman Justin Siller, who began the season as a running back, would start if Painter cannot play.
