(EVANSVILLE) - James Haarsma led four Evansville players in double figures as the Purple Aces beat Oakland City 75-51 at Roberts Stadium.
Shy Ely and Kaylon Williams finished with twelve points apiece and Jason Holsinger added ten as the Aces never trailed in improving to 2-0 on the season.
Brandon Hopf led the Mighty Oaks with 14 points and ten rebounds with Nathan Schumacher adding ten points as Oakland City falls to 0-2.
Evansville returns to action on Saturday when they host the Buffalo Bulls.
