(NEW YORK, NY) - The ninth-ranked Purdue Boilermakers face number-13 Oklahoma in the finals of the NIT season tip-off this afternoon at Madison Square Garden.
The Boilers improved to 5-and-0 with a 71-64 win over Boston College in Wednesday night's semifinals.
Sophomore E'Twuan Moore led Purdue with 19 points as the Boilermakers withstood several comeback attempts by the Eagles. The Sooners are also 5-and-0. They beat UAB in Wednesday's semis to advance to this afternoon's championship game.
The Sooners are led by Blake Griffin, who is averaging 27 points and almost 19 rebounds per game. Griffin scored 32 points and grabbed 15 boards in Wednesday night's win over the Blazers.
