(NEW YORK, NY) - The ninth-ranked Purdue Boilermakers are in the finals of the NIT season tip-off after their 71-64 win over Boston College in the semifinals last night at Madison Square Garden in New York.
E'twaun Moore led four Boilers in double figures with 19 points with Jajuan Johnson adding twelve.
Tyrese Rice led the Eagles with 17 points and Joe Trapani finished with 14 points as BC falls to 3-and-2.
The Boilermakers improve to 5-and-0 and will face number-13 Oklahoma in Friday afternoon's championship game. The Sooners beat Mike Davis' UAB Blazers last night to reach the title game.
