(UNDATED) - In men’s college basketball, Robbie Hummel led four Purdue players in double figures with 18 points as the Boilermakers defeated Eastern Michigan 87-58 in the opening round of the NIT season tip-off at Mackey arena.
E'Twaun Moore had 17 points with JaJuan Johnson finishing with eleven points and Chris Kramer adding ten for the Boilers, who improve to 2-and-0.
Justin Dobbins led the 1-and-1 Eagles with 16 points.
Purdue advances to the second round where they will face the Loyola Ramblers tonight at Mackey.
The Ramblers beat Georgia 74-53 in game two last night.
