(LAHAINA, HI) - Eighth-ranked Notre Dame had little trouble with Indiana, beating the Hoosiers 88-50 in the opening round of the Maui Invitational.
Tory Jackson led the Fighting Irish with 21 points with Kyle McAlarney finishing with 18 and Luke Harangody adding 14.
Tom Pritchard paced IU with 14 points with Devan Dumes and Nick Williams adding ten points apiece.
The Irish improve to 3-and-0 and face seventh-ranked Texas tonight in round two. The Hoosiers fall to 2-and-1 and will face St. Joseph's this afternoon in the losers' bracket.
