Last updated on Thursday, November 27, 2008

(HOUSTON, TX) - Danny Granger put back his own miss with 13 seconds remaining to give the Indiana Pacers a 91-90 win over the Houston Rockets in Houston.

After blowing leads in three-consecutive losses, Indiana overcame a 13-point deficit late in the third quarter to snap their three-game losing streak.

Houston led by double-digits midway through the fourth quarter when former Purdue star Carl Landry's rebound dunk gave the Rockets an 84-74 advantage with 6:28 remaining. Houston would not make a shot from the field for the rest of the game, scoring their remaining six points from the free throw line.

Troy Murphy led the Pacers with 21 points and 14 rebounds, including eleven points over the final five and-a-half minutes to key the Indiana comeback. Granger finished with 16 points.

Yao ming had 19 points and ten boards for the Rockets with Ron Artest also finishing with 19 points. Luis Scola added 15 points and a career-high-tying 18 rebounds as Houston played without Tracy McGrady.

The Pacers improve to 6-and-8 and will host the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night.
