(EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ) - Despite missing three-fifths of their projected starting lineup, the Indiana Pacers picked up their third win in a row with a 98-87 win over the New Jersey Nets at the IZOD center.
T.J. Ford led Indiana with 18 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
Jeff Foster and Marquis Daniels added 16 points apiece as six Pacers finished in double figures to help overcome the absences of Danny Granger, Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy.
Dunleavy has missed the entire season with a sore knee and Murphy did not make the trip as he recovers from a stomach virus.
Granger, the Pacers leading scorer, was scratched after being hobbled by a cramp in his right thigh during early warm-ups.
Vince Carter led New Jersey with 28 points as the Nets dropped their third-straight game to fall to 2-and-5.
The Pacers improve to 4-and-3 and return home to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
