(LAHAINA, HI) - The Indiana Hoosiers and The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame open play this afternoon at the Maui Invitational with a game against each other.
It is the first time in four years that the Hoosiers and Irish will play each other with Notre Dame beating IU in Bloomington back in December of 2004.
Indiana is 2-and-0 with wins over Northwestern State and IUPUI. The Fighting Irish open the day ranked ninth nationally and are coming off a win at Loyola Marymount on Friday night to improve to 2-and-0.
