(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts are winding up their week of practice as they get ready for their game Sunday with the winless Detroit Lions at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts are 9-and-4, have won six straight and are in control of their own destiny in the AFC playoff race. Tennessee has already locked up the AFC South title, but the Colts own the top record and the tiebreakers against the teams they are going up against for the conference's two wild card spots.
The 0-and-13 Lions are trying to avoid making history as they have a legitimate shot of becoming the first time in league history to go 0-and-16 in a season.
Colts Injury Report
Joseph Addai's availability for Sunday's game with Detroit will probably be determined on Sunday. Addai missed the first two practices this week with a shoulder injury.
Defensive tackle Keyunta Dawson, linebackers Gary Brackett and Tyjuan Hagler and kick returner Chad Simpson are expected to miss this weekend's game.
Newly-signed running back Najeh Davenport will backup Dominic Rhodes if Addai is unable to play as well as filling in for Simpson as the kickoff returner.
Center Jeff Saturday is expected to return after missing two games with a calf injury.
Safety Bob Sanders did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but is expected to play.
Lions Injury Report
Dan Orlovsky will start at quarterback for the Detroit Lions when they visit the Colts on Sunday. Head Coach Rod Marinelli announced his decision following the Lions' practice on Thursday.
Orlovsky has missed Detroit's last five games after suffering two fractures and a torn ligament in his right thumb against the Chicago Bears on November 2nd. After Orlovsky was injured, the Lions signed free agent Daunte Culpepper. Culpepper started Detroit's last five games, but suffered a shoulder injury late in last weekend's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
