(SOUTH BEND, IN) - The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame set a school record with their 39th consecutive home win as they pounded the Paladins of Furman 93-61 at the Joyce Center.
The eighth-ranked Irish were without reigning Big East player of the year Luke Harangody, who is out indefinitely with pneumonia.
Kyle McAlarney helped fill the void with 32 points while Ryan Ayers finished with a career-high 19 points and Tory Jackson added 17. Justin Dehm led Furman with 14 points.
Notre Dame improves to 5-and-1 while the Paladins have lost four in a row to fall to 1-and-4. The Irish host South Dakota on Tuesday night.
