(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Notre Dame’s homecourt winning streak is up to 40 games after the seventh-ranked Fighting Irish dismantled South Dakota 102-76 at the Joyce Center.
Ryan Ayers, who scored a career-high 19 points in Notre Dame's last outing Sunday against Furman, exploded for 35 points against the coyotes. Kyle McAlarney added 27 for the Irish, who improve to 6-and-1.
Jesse Becker led South Dakota with 24 points with Tyler Cain adding twelve as the Coyotes fall to 3-and-5.
Notre Dame is off until Saturday when they face Ohio State in the Hartford Hall of Fame Showcase at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
