(AUBURN HILLS, MI) - The Indiana Pacers’ four-game road trip continues tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills as they take on the Detroit Pistons.
The road trip got off on the wrong foot as the Pacers lost at Toronto 101-88 on Wednesday. The Raptors entered that game riding a five-game losing streak.
The Pacers are 7-and-14 and have dropped a season-high four in a row heading into tonight's contest.
Indiana opened the regular season at Detroit back on October 29th and fell to the Pistons 100-94. Detroit has lost their last three games - all to sub-.500 teams - to fall to 11-and-9.
First year coach Michael Curry is trying to right the Pistons' ship as the frustration appears to be mounting among Detroit's veteran players. Rasheed Wallace has picked up three of his seven technical fouls this season in the last four games. Richard Hamilton picked up two technicals and was ejected from the Pistons' loss last Sunday at New York.
Detroit stands second in the central division, but are already trailing the division-leading Cleveland Cavaliers by seven games. The Pacers are last in the central, eleven and-a-half-games behind Cleveland.
