(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers try to end a three-game losing streak tonight when they welcome the Atlanta Hawks to Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers are coming off a last-second defeat at the hands of New Orleans on Sunday night that dropped the blue-and-gold to 10-and-20 on the season. The latest streak of losses to the Hornets, Memphis and New Jersey have been by a total of six points.
Atlanta enters tonight's game at 20-and-10. The Hawks won their fifth in a row last night, knocking off Denver 109-91 in Atlanta.
Indiana won the first meeting between the two teams, defeating the Hawks 113-96 at the Fieldhouse back on November 18th.
The Pacers hope to be closer to full strength this evening. Starting point guard TJ Ford has missed the last two games with a sore back. His status for tonight's game is uncertain.
Mike Dunleavy continues to make progress from his sore knee. Dunleavy has been slowed by the same viral infection that floored Danny Granger, Troy Murphy and Marquis Daniels last week, but his illness has not been as severe as those three.
Dunleavy did participate in practice on Monday but there is still no timetable for his return. Dunleavy has missed the entire season with tendonitis and bone spurs in his right knee.
