(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers head to Memphis today as they return from their Christmas break Friday night with a game against the Grizzlies.
The Pacers will try to recover from a tough 108-107 loss to the New Jersey Nets Tuesday night at Conseco Fieldhouse.
New Jersey's Devin Harris drained a 22-footer as time expired to give the Nets the win and drop Indiana to 10-and-18 for the season. The Grizzlies are 9-and-19 and enter Friday's game riding a four-game losing streak.
Indiana hopes to have Marquis Daniels and Troy Murphy available for tomorrow night's game. Daniels and Murphy have missed the Pacers' last three games and spent last weekend in the hospital for treatment of viral infections. Murphy lost 20 pounds due to his illness.
Danny Granger also was hospitalized last weekend with a viral infection but returned to score a team-high 26 points in Tuesday night's loss.
Memphis is led in scoring by Rudy Gay, who averages 20-point-one points per contest with rookie OJ Mayo just behind Gay with a 19-point-nine average.
