(WINSTON-SALEM, NC) - The Indiana Hoosiers stayed close to number-17 Wake Forest for about ten minutes, but the Demon Deacons would pull away to an impressive 83-58 victory in an ACC / Big Ten Challenge game at Joel Coliseum.
James Johnson scored 15 of his game-high 21 points in the first half with LD Williams adding 16 for the 8-and-0 Deacons. Indianapolis native Jeff Teague finished with 14 points for Wake Forest, seven below his season average.
IU was led by Matt Roth's twelve points with Malik Story adding ten as the Hoosiers fall to 4-and-3
