(MOBILE, AL) - The Ball State Cardinals face the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Tuesday night in the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Plenty has changed with the Cardinals since they suffered their lone defeat of the season one month ago in the MAC championship game. Head Coach Brady Hoke resigned to take over at San Diego State with offensive coordinator Stan Parrish being named Ball State's new head coach. Hoke had a big hand in the Cardinals' defense, calling the plays during the games.
Mark Smith is the defensive coordinator and will call the defenses for Ball State tomorrow night from the press box. Line Coach Phillip Burnett will signal the plays to the defense from the sideline.
The Cardinals' defense will have its hands full with a Tulsa offense that ranks second in the nation in scoring and total yards.
The Cardinals are 12-and-1 while the Golden Hurricane are 10-and-3.
