(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts head back to the practice field late this morning as they wrap up preparations for Saturday night’s AFC wild card game with the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.
The Colts edged the Chargers 23-20 in a regular season game at Qualcomm back on November 23rd when Adam Vinatieri kicked a 51-yard field goal as time expired.
The Colts enter the postseason at 12-and-4 and have won their last nine games. San Diego had to win its final four games to reach .500 at 8-and-8 and to knock Denver out of first place in the AFC West.
The Chargers beat the Colts in last year's divisional playoffs.
Colts Injury Report
The Colts released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday. Linebacker Gary Brackett, defensive backs Tim Jennings, Keiwan Ratliff and Bob Sanders, defensive tackle Eric Foster, wide receiver Pierre Garcon and offensive linemen Mike Pollak and Jamey Richard are listed as not participating in practice.
Head Coach Tony Dungy has already ruled Brackett out for Saturday's game in San Diego as he recovers from a broken leg. Jennings and Sanders are listed as being rested. Dungy is hopeful that Pollak and Richard can participate in practice today.
