(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Danny Granger scored 27 points to lead the Indiana Pacers past the Charlotte Bobcats 98-93 at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Mike Dunleavy and TJ Ford added 13 points apiece while Troy Murphy finished with a double-double of eleven points and 14 rebounds as the Pacers have won back-to-back games to improve to 17-and-27 on the season. It was a season-high fifth consecutive home win for the blue and gold.
Indiana took a 14-point lead early in the third quarter when Dunleavy scored the first four points of the third quarter to build on the Pacers' 54-44 halftime lead. Charlotte got as close as three points in the final quarter when Raja Bell's jumper cut the Pacers' lead to 96-93 with 1:24 left.
Jeff Foster increased the Indiana lead to four when he hit one of two free throws with 45 seconds remaining. Boris Diaw would miss two free throws with 35 seconds left before Ford sealed the game with a free throw with eight seconds remaining.
Diaw and Bell led the Bobcats with 19 points each as Charlotte saw a two-game winning streak come to an end.
The Pacers hit the road to face the Magic in Orlando on Tuesday night before opening a three-game homestand against Milwaukee on Wednesday.
