(DENVER, CO) - The Indiana Pacers open a five-game western trip tonight as they face the Nuggets in Denver.
The Pacers got set for their longest road trip of the season by pulling off back-to-back wins over New York and Sacramento over the weekend. With the wins, Indiana improved to 12-and-21.
The Nuggets are in first place in the northwest division with a 23-and-12 mark. The Nuggets have won three in a row with victories over Toronto, Oklahoma City and New Orleans.
The Pacers could be getting swingman Mike Dunleavy back during their western road trip. Pacers Coach Jim O'Brien said before Saturday night's win over the Kings that Dunleavy would probably be back in uniform sometime during the trip, which ends one week from tonight in Salt Lake City.
Dunleavy averaged 19 points, five rebounds and three and-a-half assists last season. He has missed the entire regular season with a right knee injury.
