(SAN ANTONIO, TX) - Tim Duncan scored 27 points and grabbed ten rebounds in just 27 minutes as the San Antonio Spurs rolled over the Indiana Pacers 99-81.
Manu Ginobili added 26 points as San Antonio Coach Greg Popovich sat his stars through most of the fourth quarter.
Duncan did most of his damage in the first half, scoring 16 by intermission and hitting ten of his 15 shots from the field during the game. Ginobili went 4-for-4 from three-point range and finished 8-for-10 from the floor.
Danny granger led Indiana with 17 points with Mike Dunleavy adding 15 as the Pacers shot just 37-percent from the field and finished with their second-lowest point total of the season.
Indiana looked sluggish throughout as they were coming off a tough loss in New Orleans on Monday afternoon. Chris Paul hit a three-pointer as time expired to give the Hornets a 103-100 win in game one of Indiana's two-game trip.
The Pacers fall to 15-and-27 as they return home to face the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
