(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers go for their fifth-straight win at home tonight when they welcome the Michigan State Spartans to Mackey Arena.
The 21st-ranked Boilermakers are 19-and-6 overall, 8-and-4 in Big Ten play and are coming off back-to-back wins over Penn State and Iowa. The Spartans are ranked fifth and lead the Big Ten with a 10-and-2 conference mark and are 20-and-4 overall.
Michigan State enters tonight's contest riding a three-game winning streak. It is the first of two games between the Boilers and the Spartans this season. They will close out the regular season with a rematch in East Lansing on either March 7th or March 8th.
