(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - JaJuan Johnson led a balanced Purdue attack with 14 points and 13 rebounds as the 23rd-ranked Boilermakers halted their two-game slide with a 61-47 win over Penn State.
Bobby Riddell, filling in for Robbie Hummel, scored a career-high 13 points with Nemanja Calasan finishing with twelve points and E'Twaun Moore adding ten.
Jamelle Cornley was the only Nittany Lion to reach double-figures with 16 points while the Boilers held Penn State's leading scorer, Talor Battle, scoreless on 0-for-7 shooting from the field.
Penn State has lost three in a row to fall to 17-and-8, 6-and-6 in the Big Ten. Purdue improves to 18-and-6, 7-and-4 in conference play. They are at Iowa on Saturday.
