Participants will go through a battery of medical and psychological tests with a majority going through physical testing on the Lucas Oil Stadium turf. This is the 23rd year that the combine has been held in Indianapolis. The first 22 took place at the RCA Dome. This is the first combine to be held at the Indianapolis Colts' new stadium.

Eight players from state schools have been invited to the combine with Purdue sending four players - quarterback Curtis Painter, wide receiver Greg Orton, running back Kory Sheets and defensive end Alex McGee. Ball State quarterback Nate Davis and offensive tackle Robert Brewster will also attend as will Indiana wide receiver Andrew Means and Notre Dame safety David Bruton.
