(INDIANAPOLIS) - Jamaal Tinsley just wants to play basketball. At least that’s what his agent is saying.
Tinsley, the locked out point guard for the Indiana Pacers, will file a grievance with the NBA Players Association against the Pacers by the end of the week.
Tinsley, who will turn 31 on February 28th, has 2 years and $14.7 million left on his contract with Indiana. Pacers President Larry Bird, who has scheduled Tinsley to stay away from the franchise while they seek a trade, has been open about his desire to trade his veteran guard.
While few teams have shown interest in Tinsley, Bird still hopes to unload him before the February 19th trade deadline.
