(INDIANAPOLIS) - The bracket is set for the 2009 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament to be held at the end of this week at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Ohio State has the number-one seed for the fifth-straight year and received a first-round bye along with Michigan State, Purdue, Iowa and Minnesota.
Purdue is the number-three seed and will take on the winner of Thursday's game between Indiana and Michigan.
IU is the number-six seed in the tournament while the Wolverines are the number-eleven seed.
Thursday's action gets underway with Wisconsin taking on Northwestern, followed by Indiana and Michigan and then Penn State against Illinois.
