(EAST LANSING, MI) - The Purdue Boilermakers ended their regular-season schedule with a 62-51 loss to number-eight Michigan State at the Breslin Center.
Kalin Lucas led the Spartans with 21 points with Goran Suton adding eleven points and ten rebounds as Michigan State finishes the season at 25-and-5, 15-and-3 in Big Ten play and will hold the number one seed at this week's conference tournament in Indianapolis.
The Boilers shot just 28-percent from the field in falling to 22-and-9, 11-and-7 in the conference.
Jajuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore were the only Purdue players to reach double figures, finishing with twelve points apiece.
The Boilermakers will be the number-three seed in the Big Ten tournament and will open play on Friday.
