(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers take a seven-game losing streak into their game with first-place Michigan State tonight at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
It is the final home game of the season for the Hoosiers, who are 6-and-22, 1-and-15 in conference play and have already wrapped up the eleventh-seed in next week's Big Ten tournament.
The eighth-ranked Spartans are 23-and-5, 13-and-3 in the Big Ten and own a two-game lead over second-place Purdue with two games to play. A win tonight will give the Spartans the outright regular season championship and the number-one seed in next week's tournament at Conseco Fieldhouse.
A Michigan State loss means that the Spartans will have to beat Purdue at home on Saturday to clinch the title outright, provided the Boilermakers take care of business at Mackey Arena against Northwestern on Wednesday night.
