(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers are back in action this evening as they face the Miami Heat at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers have been off since Saturday when they snapped a five-game losing streak with a 108-83 pounding of the Bobcats in Charlotte.
Indiana enters play tonight four and-a-half games behind Chicago for the eighth and final eastern conference playoff berth. The Bulls extended their lead for the final spot with a win over Detroit last night in Chicago.
The Heat are currently the fifth seed in the east at 36-and-33 and have won their last two games. They are led by all-star guard Dwyane Wade, who leads the NBA in scoring at 30 points per game.
The Pacers have won 13 in a row against the Heat in Indianapolis.
Indiana will be minus guard Marquis Daniels, who will miss his second-straight game with a sprained right wrist.
Head Coach Jim O'Brien is expected to use the same starting lineup he unveiled in Charlotte with Jarrett Jack at point guard in place of TJ Ford and Brandon Rush taking Jack's place as the starting shooting guard.
