(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers will fly to Atlanta this morning and practice there today as they get ready for their Friday night game with the Hawks.
The team did not practice on Wednesday and is heading to Atlanta early because of the Big Ten Tournament taking place at Conseco Fieldhouse this weekend.
The blue-and-gold will enter play on Friday a game and-a-half behind Milwaukee and Chicago for the eighth and final eastern conference playoff berth.
The road trip will wrap up Sunday afternoon in Toronto before the Pacers return home to host the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Pacers forward Danny Granger is expected to return to action either Friday night in Atlanta or Sunday afternoon in Toronto. Indiana's leading scorer has missed ten games with a partially-torn tendon in the sole of his right foot.
Granger went through a lengthy workout before the Pacers' Tuesday night loss to Utah. He is sixth on the NBA in scoring, averaging 25 points per game.
Center Jeff Foster remains day-to-day with a sore lower back. Foster also missed Tuesday's loss to the Jazz.
