(COLUMBUS, OH) - The Indianapolis Indians scored five times in the top of the eighth to pull out a 5-4 win over the Columbus Clippers.
The Tribe had loaded the bases with one out when Luis Cruz drew a bases-loaded walk. The Indians scored twice more when Columbus first baseman Michael Aubrey made a throwing error on Jeff Salazar's grounder.
Steve Pearce capped the rally with a two-run single as the Tribe earns a split of the four-game series in Columbus. Second baseman Josh Barfield drove in two runs for the Clippers.
The Indians head on to Louisville where they will conclude their nine-game road trip with a pair against the bats.
