Bats Pull Off Big First Inning, Never Let Indy Get Game Back

(LOUISVILLE, KY) - Wes Bankston capped Louisville’s four-run first inning with a two-run shot off Indianapolis starter Daniel McCutchen as the Bats went on to a 6-3 victory over the Indians.

Adam Rosales went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in as the Bats won their third game in a row.

Steve Pearce hit a solo home run, his third of the season, and Garrett Jones drove in a pair of runs for the Tribe.

The two-game series wraps up late this morning in Louisville.
