(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Kyle Lohse threw a three-hit shutout as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Houston Astros 3-0.
Kaz Matsui led off the game with a single, but Lohse would retire the next 24 Astros in a row before Michael Bourn singled to lead off the ninth.
Lohse would give up another hit to Hunter Pence before getting Lance Berkman to fly out to end the game. Ryan Ludwick and Khalil Green had RBI singles for the Cardinals who completed a three-game series sweep and have won four games in a row.
The Astros' losing streak is now at four games.
