(INDIANAPOLIS) - Jordan Brown’s RBI double in the top of the ninth gave the Columbus Clippers a 3-2 come-from-behind win over the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field.
Steve Pearce gave Indianapolis a 2-0 lead in the sixth when he drove a pitch from Columbus reliever Tony Sipp over the left field wall with a runner on.
Columbus tied the game in the eighth on an RBI triple by Luis Valbuena followed by a single by Wes Hodges. The Tribe falls to 1-4 on the season.
Game two of the three-game series is scheduled for this evening in Indianapolis.
