(CHICAGO, IL) - Ted Lilly and three relievers combined on a one-hitter as the Chicago Cubs shut-out the Colorado Rockies 4-0 in their home opener at Wrigley Field.
Lilly took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and left after Garrett Atkins got Colorado's lone hit with a two-out single to left and Seth Smith followed with a walk.
Angel Guzman, Aaron Heilman and Kevin Gregg held the Rockies hitless the rest of the way. Derrek lee and Kosuke Fukudome had RBI singles for Chicago as the Cubs picked up their third-straight win.
The Rockies have dropped three in a row.
