(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana Hoosiers are one of seven teams invited to participate in the 2009 Puerto Rico Tip-Off in November.
ESPN Regional Television announced the seven teams that will play in San Juan from November 19th through the 22nd. An eighth team will be announced at a later date.
The Hoosiers are coming off the worst season in school history, finishing the 2008-2009 campaign with a 6-25 mark.
Head coach Tom Crean does have one of the top recruiting classes in the nation coming to Bloomington next season.
The other teams invited to play are UAB, Dayton, George Mason, Georgia Tech, Kansas State and Villanova.
Five of the seven teams reached the postseason this season with Villanova participating in this weekend's NCAA Final Four.
