(TERRE HAUTE) - University of Iowa transfer Jake Kelly has signed a letter of intent with Indiana State.
Kelly, who played at Carmel High School just north of Indianapolis, averaged 11.6 points per game as a sophomore with the Hawkeyes last season.
He announced his intention to transfer to Indiana State earlier this month, saying he wanted to be closer to home. Kelly grew up in Marshall, Illinois, which is about 15 miles away from Terre Haute.
He transferred to Carmel before his junior season in high school.
