(MIAMI, FL) - The jury continues to deliberate in the tax evasion trial of two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves.
The twelve-person jury will continue deliberations today at US Federal Court in Miami.
Castroneves, his sister Kati and attorney Alan Miller are charged with conspiracy to divert almost $5.5 million of Castroneves' earnings to an offshore dummy corporation for the purpose of avoiding paying US taxes.
The three defendants could face prison time in excess of six years each if convicted.
