(INDIANAPOLIS) - Danny Granger and Brandon Rush keyed a fourth-quarter comeback as the Indiana Pacers knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks 115-108 in the season finale for both teams.
Indiana scored a season-high 43 points in the final period to come all the way back from a 17-point deficit early in the fourth. Granger scored 16 of his game-high 35 points in the fourth quarter while Rush had 15 of his 24 points in the final twelve minutes.
Richard Jefferson led Milwaukee with 31 points with Luc Mbahamoute adding 19 points and eleven rebounds. The Pacers end the season at 36-46, the same record they had in the 2007-08 campaign.
With the NBA regular season now over, a couple of Pacers will have time to reflect on their accomplishments during the year.
Danny Granger finished fifth in the league in scoring, averaging 25.eight points per game. He fell one-tenth of a point shy of tying Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki for fourth place.
Troy Murphy set the franchise record for most rebounds in a season, surpassing Clark Kellogg's record set during the 1982-83 season.
Murphy finished with eleven points and twelve rebounds against Milwaukee to extend his team record for double-doubles in a season to 49.
