(ARLINGTON, TX) - The Texas Rangers’ bats stayed alive as they completed a three-game sweep of Cleveland with a 12-8 win over the Indians.
Marlon Byrd hit a three-run home run and drove in five runs while Ian Kinsler had a two-run blast and three runs batted in for Texas.
The Rangers did most of their damage off Cleveland starter Carl Pavano, who allowed nine runs in the first inning on six hits and three walks.
Grady Sizemore hit a pair of two-run homers for the Indians.
