(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Indians picked up their first win of the season as they needed 14 innings to get past the Toledo Mud Hens 3-2.
Brian Bixler hit a one-out single in the bottom of the 14th and scored the winning run when Neil Walker hit a double to left field.
The Tribe trailed 2-1 when Garrett Jones tied the game with a solo homer in the bottom of the eighth inning. With the win, the Indians avoid being swept in the opening four-game series of the season.
They open a three-game set with the Columbus Clippers this evening at Victory Field.
