(HOUSTON, TX) - Joey Votto hit a go-ahead, two-run double in the top of the seventh to give the Cincinnati Reds a 4-3 win over the Houston Astros.
Edwin Encarnacion gave Cincinnati the early lead with a two-run single in the first. Ivan Rodriguez put Houston on the board with a fielders' choice in the second before Houston took the lead on back-to-back solo homers from Lance Berkman and Carlos Lee off Reds starter Bronson Arroyo in the sixth.
Votto's hit in the seventh made a winner of Arroyo, who improves to 3-0 on the season.
It is the first time in his career that Arroyo has won his first three decisions in a season.
