(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Nate McLouth hit a two-run home run in support of Zach Duke as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-4.
Jack Wilson went 4-for-5 with two runs batted in as the Pirates have taken two of three from the Redbirds so far in their four-game opening series.
Duke allowed three runs on five hits over six and-a-third innings to pick up the win. Todd Wellemeyer took the loss for St. Louis, giving up five runs on twelve hits in five innings of work.
The series concludes this afternoon at Busch Stadium.
