(PHOENIX) - The Cincinnati Reds’ offense exploded for 18 hits as the Reds defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 13-5.
Willy Taveras matched a career high with five hits, going 5-5 with a pair of RBI's and four runs scored.
Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips and Jerry Hairston Jr. also drove in two runs apiece while Laynce Nix and Adam Rosales hit solo home runs.
Bronson Arroyo pitched seven innings, allowing five runs on ten hits to improve to 5-2.
Jon Garland took the loss, allowing seven runs on ten hits over three and two-thirds innings to fall to 3-2.
