(CONCORD, NC) - Rain postponed Sunday’s scheduled running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte.
It is the first time that the longest race in the Nascar Sprint Cup season has been postponed in 50 years.
They will try it again today with the start scheduled for noon eastern time.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast.
It is the first time that the race will be held on Memorial Day.
